We remain independent of every vendor and platform in play. Our role is to take ownership of the situation and lead it to a defensible outcome — not to sell the technology within it.
Who Engages Us
Who brings us in.
Boards, investors and executive teams engage TLN when a business-critical situation demands senior leadership capable of taking ownership and delivering the outcome.
Law Firms
Partner-owned practices navigating transformation, governance and technology change where confidentiality and professional obligation are paramount.
Accountancy Firms
Practices balancing productivity, technology modernisation and professional standards.
Financial Services
Regulated institutions where governance, technology risk and demonstrable oversight are board-level concerns.
Wealth Management Firms
Regulated advisers where client data, security and trust are central to responsible technology change.
Private Equity & Investors
Operating partners assessing technology capability, value creation and risk across portfolios and transactions.
Professional Services Organisations
Knowledge-intensive firms where transformation, governance and technology strategy have reached the board.
Where AI Creates Value
Value that is specific, measurable and defensible.
AI is one lever within a transformation, not the strategy itself. In knowledge-intensive enterprises it can create real, measurable value — our role is to separate where that value is genuine from where it is not, and to lead adoption with the right controls.

The Context
The questions boards and leadership teams are wrestling with.
Discuss a Critical EngagementChange is outpacing governance
Organisations are moving on technology and AI faster than governance, accountability and assurance can keep pace — creating exposure as much as opportunity.
Investment without a clear thesis
Significant technology and transformation spend is committed before anyone has defined where the value lies, or how it will be measured.
Critical programmes losing confidence
Major programmes drift, stall or overrun — and leadership teams need an independent view of how to stabilise delivery and regain control.
Vendor noise, independent judgement scarce
The market is crowded with platforms and integrators, each with an incentive. Boards lack an independent view of what to back, and what to govern.
Why TLN
The firm brought in when failure is not an option.
TLN is engaged when a situation is important, complex, exposed or time-critical — and the organisation needs independent leadership able to take ownership, hold the line under pressure and deliver the outcome.
We are brought in, not sold in. Our role is independent leadership, control and execution under pressure — taking ownership of the outcome, not selling a platform or building the technology ourselves.
Independent of vendors
Free of platform incentives, reseller commissions and internal politics, we provide the candid, impartial view that consequential decisions require.
Board-level perspective
We translate transformation, technology and AI into the language of risk, value and accountability that boards govern by — supporting decisions with material operational, financial or reputational consequences.
Governance & risk discipline
We bring the rigour of formal governance — policy, controls, oversight and assurance — to fast-moving change, so ambition never outruns control.
Commercial focus
We concentrate on where technology creates genuine, measurable value, and are equally willing to say where it does not — protecting investment and credibility.
Global enterprise experience
We have led transformation, recovery and technology change in large, international organisations — and understand the pressures leadership teams carry.
Leadership through delivery
We do not stop at recommendations. We provide the executive leadership and oversight that embeds change so it holds once we step away.
Strategic Network
Strategic network & delivery ecosystem.
TLN Advisory combines independent advice with access to a carefully developed network of senior technology leaders, specialist consultancies, software vendors, infrastructure providers, licensing partners and professional advisers.
This enables clients to access the right expertise, technology and commercial support without the complexity of managing multiple suppliers or compromising independent decision-making.
Where appropriate, TLN Advisory can introduce, coordinate and oversee trusted specialist partners while remaining the client's independent adviser throughout the engagement.
How we support delivery
- Technology partner identification and selection
- Executive introductions where appropriate
- Vendor evaluation and commercial guidance
- Enterprise software procurement support
- Microsoft ecosystem guidance
- AI platform selection

- Telecommunications and connectivity advisory
- Cybersecurity partner coordination
- Programme assurance across multiple suppliers
- Independent executive oversight
Over many years, TLN Advisory has developed relationships across the technology, legal and professional services sectors, including major enterprise technology providers, specialist delivery partners, licensing organisations, telecommunications providers, restructuring professionals and regulatory environments.
These relationships enable clients to access experienced specialists quickly where additional capability is required, while ensuring recommendations remain objective and aligned with the client's best interests.
Independent advice backed by an exceptional professional network — the right people, organisations and specialist capability, when required.

About

Michael London
Intelligent Enterprise Partner
Technology · Operations · Transformation · Intervention
Independent leadership when failure is not an option.
Michael leads business-critical interim engagements across technology, operations, transformation and enterprise intervention. He is brought in when circumstances are important, complex, exposed or time-critical — to take ownership, stabilise the situation and deliver the outcome.
That authority is grounded in decades of enterprise leadership: directing transformation across international organisations, holding governance and control under significant regulatory pressure, and leading technology due diligence and integration on behalf of investors and acquirers.
The position is independent by design — free of platform incentives and reseller commissions, and accountable only to the organisation's interests. It is the combination of executive judgement and hands-on execution that allows boards and investors to hand over a critical situation with confidence.
The work concentrates on the moments where the quality of leadership, control and execution determines whether an enterprise recovers, holds its ground or loses value — across stabilisation, recovery, transformation and complex transactions.
